Questions about unlimited online plan

With the unlimited imap online plan, can i access it more than 50,000 times
in 1 year (not that i ever would, at least i dont think i would)

2) is the only advantage to the windows plan that it can be accessed
offline? what other advantages or disadvantages are there?

3) Do you have any plans in the future to be able to add and edit points
and places and most importantly for me text labels to my custom map using a
mobile device (ipad, android smartphone or tablet) or is the mobile device
option only good for viewing the maps?

4) what is the difference between the google imap and the flash imap?

I want to be able to edit my map and add places and edit text labels of
current places on the go using a mobile device. Is there a way to do that?
Could i possibly open it up using the web browser and have full
functionality?

1) Yes the map can still be accessed / edited after all 50,000 map views
are delivered. Except when you publish the map, you will have the same
publish limit as free account. You can always extend the unlimited plan
by purchasing additional map views any time during the year.

2) If you are using the Windows version, you need your own web host where
you must upload the map files before the maps can be viewed online or embed
to a website.

The online map editor host all your map files on map server, so maps can be
viewed/shared online instantly, and embedding the map to website is simply
done by copy and paste few lines of code.

3) You can use iPad or Android based mobile device to login to the online
map editor. Most Android device can support both flash map and custom
Google map editor, while iPad supports the custom Google Map builder.

4) Flash map builder uses ready-made flash map templates which mainly shows
country, state, county borderlines and allow you to set the attributes by
region, but without city or street level details.

The custom Google map builder uses Google map as base map. You can add
pinpoints by using addresses, zip code, city names.

So the unlimited plan once-off is a one time payment and I will have this
for the rest of my life or as long as you will stay in business, right?

What about updates? Will they be free?

Will the base map update as Google updates it?

If i load the imap within a browser (whether it be a tablet browser, phone
browser, as long as its a browser) will I get the same functionality, such
as being able to add new text labels to new point on my map, as I would be
from my browser at my home computer?

1) Right you will have access to the map as long as we stay in business.
Also as stated in last reply, once all 50,000 map views are delivered, you
can choose to extend the quota by purchasing additional map views, or you
can continue to use the account but with the same publish limit as free
account.

2) Yes the online software updates are always free

3) Yes the base map will update as Google updates it.

4) Most functions (such as adding the text label and new points) work the
same in PC browser and mobile browser. However some functions are different
because of the limitation of devices. For example, if you use mouse
rollover text box, it is not supported by iPad because it does not have a
cursor. Therefore you should use 'onClick' event instead as it will work on
PC as well as iPad.
