Embed map into Yahoo! SiteBuilder
Using iMapBuilder map maker. You can embed interactive map into Yahoo! SiteBuilder easily.
Tips: You can also use iMapBuilder Online to create interactive map and embed into WordPress, BlogSpot, Joomla and other blogging or CMS website.
In case you don't have a web hosting, we suggest you try iMapBuilder online - which is the web based version of iMapBuilder, and requires no FTP to your server, therefore you can get rid of handling files or folders. - After you have created your own map, please click the "Publish" button to publish and upload the files to your server. For details, please visit here.
- In Publishing Window, check 'Use Full path for the embed code
and enter the URL where the /imapbuilder/ folder is saved. For example,
http://www.example.com. Click 'Copy to Clipboard' button.
- Run Yahoo! SiteBuilder, open an existing site or create a new
site. Click the page tab (e.g, index.html) that you want to add
the map.
- Select Insert -> Code Elements -> HTML to open the HTML editing panel
of the site.
- A HTML Code pop-up window is now displayed, paste the iMapBuilder
embed code into the HTML code dialog by clicking inside the empty
field. Click 'OK' to continue.
- Square-shaped resize handles will appear. Click on one of these
resize handles and drag
the image to a desired size. You can also drag the element to
the desired location, then release the mouse button.
- Select File -> Preview in Browser to preview the page with interactive map embedded.
