Map Packages for flash map

New Map packages for the iMapBuilder - Interactive Flash Map Software are periodically released and these are available on the iMapBuilder website. You can purchase these map packages and install them and use them with the program..

To install a new map package

1. Purchase the map package from www.imapbuilder.com. The package will comprise a .fmt file. Download the file onto your computer.
   
   e.g. c:\download\imap_worldcountries.fmt
   
   
   Note: Please ensure the downloaded file is in .fmt file extension, e.g imap_worldcountries.fmt, sometimes Vista + IE system will accidently add an extra extension .zip (e.g imap_worldcountries.fmt.zip) to the template package file. You should rename downloaded file back to correct filename. e.g imap_worldcountries.fmt by right click the file and select rename or simply select the file and press F2

 
2. From the mainmenu File > Install Map Package.

 
3. The windows Open dialog is displayed using which you can install the package after selecting the downloaded .fmt file.
   
   e.g. c:\download\imap_worldcountries.fmt

   


 
4. After selected the package file, you need to fill in the registration information - Registration Name and License Key, you can get those information from the ordering email.

   


 
5. After installed the map package, you will see a success message.

   


 
6. You can find the installed map in the Help > About

   


 
7. Each map package will offer 3 different of license - Single User License, Site License, Corporate License, the license type will show in the about box. For more details of license and map package, you can go to http://www.imapbuilder.com/registration/
