Add clickable area to map

iMapBuilder software provides drawing tools helping you to create custom map easily. They are oval, rectangle and polygon tool. With clickable areas to handle mouse events, descriptions or infowindow can be displayed when an area is highlighted.


Draw circle on map

  1. Click on the circle tool.
  2. Left click to start drawing, mousemouse to control the circle size.
    Left click to proceed or press delete key to cancel.
  3. Add infobox/ tooltips under mouseover or mouse click event. The circle size can be changed by dragging the controls. Click apply to save changes.

Draw rectangular area on map

  1. Click on the rectangle tool.
  2. Left click to start drawing, mousemouse to control the rectangle size.
    Left click to proceed or press delete key to cancel.
  3. Add infobox/ tooltips under mouseover or mouse click event. The rectangle size can be changed by dragging the controls. Click apply to save changes.

Draw polygon on map

  1. Click on the polygon tool.
  2. Left click to start drawing, click to add points,
    left click again the start point to proceed;
    press insert key to extend;
    press backspace to remove the last node point. or
    press delete key to cancel.
  3. Add infobox/ tooltips under mouseover or mouse click event. The polygon shape can be edited by dragging the controls. Click apply to save changes.

  4. Map Infowindow or tooltips can be further added to display information like text description or photo.
