Open existing project
You can open existing projects and can modify or edit them at later stages. There are two common ways of loading previous projects.
Using the wizard
- Click on the down arrow of the Map Project: drop
down list in the Load Existing Map Project panel
and select your project from the list.

Alternatively click the Browse button. The Windows file browser opens and you can navigate to the folder containing the project file (*.fmp) and open it. - Click Open. The file is loaded in the Preview panel of the software.
Note: If the project was edited by trial version before, simply select File > Update Map in Project in the main menu so that the demo button will be removed.
To open an existing project using the Menu bar and Toolbar
- From the File menu, click the Open button on the Toolbar. The Open Project dialog opens.
- Navigate the iMapBuilder project file, select and click Open. The file is opened in the Preview panel of the software.
Opening projects you recently worked on
- Click on Open Recent from the File menu and the most recently worked on projects will be displayed.

Click on the down arrow button adjacent to the Open button on the Toolbar to display the most recently worked on projects as shown below.
